Terms for organizers
The rules for teams that build and publish event maps, with the data processing agreement for attendee data.
Last updated 20 October 2026
About these terms
These terms apply between [company name] ("we") and the organization or person that creates a team ("you"). Attendees who only use a map do not need to accept them.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
The service
You build interactive maps for your events and publish them at your team address. Building is free; the Free plan keeps one map live, paid plans keep more, at the price shown at checkout.
Paid plans renew every month or year until you pause or cancel them; a cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid. Visitors over your plan are billed on the next invoice; we never stop a map because of traffic.
A live map goes offline 7 days after its last paid day.
Your account and team
Keep your sign in details safe and the information you give us accurate. Team admins decide who joins and what they can edit, and are responsible for what their team publishes.
Your content
You keep every right to the maps, texts and images you add. You give us the permission we need to store them, show them on your live maps and in the event directory, and back them up.
Only upload content you have the right to publish, photos of people included. Do not use the service for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
Event directory
Published events appear in the public event directory by default, events published before the directory existed included. You can hide any event from the directory in its settings at any time.
Availability and liability
We work to keep maps online, above all during events, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. Maps also depend on outside map providers.
Our liability is limited to what you paid for your plan in the last 12 months, except where the law does not allow a limit.
Ending the service
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend a team that breaks these terms, and we tell you why whenever we can.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of [country].
Data processing agreement
This section is the data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR for the attendee data on your event maps.
- Roles: you are the controller of your attendees' data and we are your processor. For billing, fraud prevention and security we act as an independent controller.
- What we process: optional attendee accounts (name, email, provider id, picture, sessions) and cookieless visitor counts, only to run your live map and its statistics, for as long as the event exists.
- Your instructions: we process attendee data only as the product settings and these terms describe, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Confidentiality and security: only staff who need it can access the data, under a duty of confidentiality. Passwords and session tokens are stored as hashes, connections are encrypted, and every staff change in the admin console is logged.
- Subprocessors: you allow the providers listed in the privacy policy. We tell you before adding or replacing one, so you can object.
- Attendee requests: attendees can download and delete their own data from the map, and we help you answer any other request.
- Breaches: we tell you without undue delay after we learn of a breach that affects your attendees.
- End of processing: when you delete an event or your team, we delete its attendee data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Audits: on request to [contact email] we give you the information you need to show compliance.
