How it will work

Three steps from your notes to a guide people buy

You already know the places. CiaoMap turns them into a map travelers can follow.

    Create your guide

    Add places with photos and your tips, group them by category and build the itinerary day by day: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, no fixed dates.

  2. Step 2

    Set your price

    Choose what a traveler pays for the whole guide. The money goes to your own Stripe account.

  3. Step 3

    Sell private access

    Share your guide page. Each buyer gets personal access through their own account, and you see every traveler in your console.

A guide that walks with them

The CiaoMap map visitors already know, with search and the schedule, plus a Day button and a program for every day.

  • Search and schedule as alwaysFind any place by name or category, and open the schedule from the bottom bar, like on every CiaoMap map.
  • A Day button on the mapPick Day 1, Day 2 or all days. The map keeps only that day's stops, numbered in order and joined by the walk between them.
  • A program for each dayChoose a day and read its stops in order, with times, photos and your tips. One tap shows that day on the map.
  • Directions in one tapEach place opens directions in the traveler's own maps app.
  • Always up to dateWhen you fix an opening time or add a place, buyers see it the next time they open the guide.

Private by design

A forwarded link opens nothing

Your guide is what you sell, so it stays yours. Access belongs to the buyer's account, not to a secret address.

  • Personal accessBuyers sign in with their email. Their guides wait for them in My travel guides, on any phone.
  • Listed, but lockedYour guide can appear in Explore with its cover and a lock. A click opens your guide page, never the map itself.
  • You stay in controlGrant access by hand, for example to someone who paid you elsewhere, and revoke it whenever you need to.

Pricing is not decided yet

Building your map is free, as it is today. What CiaoMap takes when you sell a guide is still open. We will publish it here before selling starts, and nobody pays anything until then.

Questions travel creators ask

When can I start selling?

Soon. We are building checkout and buyer access now. Create your map today and it will be ready to sell when we launch.

Can I build my guide now?

Yes. Sign up, create a map and add your places, photos and categories in the editor. The daily itinerary and the guide page arrive with the launch.

How do buyers get access?

They pay on your guide page and receive an activation link by email. From then on the guide opens from their own account, on any phone.

What if someone forwards the link?

Nothing opens. The map loads only for a signed in buyer with access, so a forwarded address shows your guide page instead.

Does a purchase include my later changes?

That is our plan: buyers always see the current version of your guide. We will confirm the terms before selling opens.

What does it cost?

Creating the map is free. The fee on sales is not decided yet, and we will publish it before launch.
